A huge congratulations to KA from all at Orange Grove on your incredible academic achievements this year!

Prior to moving in with his current Foster Carer, KA didn’t attend school for the first five months of the academic year. By the end of the year, KA has made a huge amount of progress and even been awarded with following awards:

Outstanding Effort In Art
Runner up, Scientist of the Year

Well done to KA. We are all very proud of you!

Sexting is becoming a real problem amongst our children and young people and during my work as a Family Support Worker, I have been asked to work with a number of our teens to help them understand the dangers and legalities of ‘sexting.’

One young person (14 yrs) I have just completed a chapter of work with agreed to use the knowledge he had gained to design a poster that I could then go on to use with other children and young people. I am really pleased with what we managed to produce, not only because it will be a really useful tool when I am working with others, but because it shows that he retained and understood what we had discussed over a number of weeks!

One of our talented young people, KG, has written a great poem called ‘Welcome back to school’.
