Salary: £42,000-47,000 Benefits: £3,000 Car Allowance, 25 Days’ Annual Leave + Bank Holidays, Company Pension We are currently looking to recruit a Registered Manager to continue to expand and develop our registration in Staffordshire. You should be a qualified social worker with a depth of experience of working with Looked After children and Foster Carers. You are required to have a Management qualification and/or tangible Management experience. You should also have a good understanding of appropriate and relevant fostering legislation and regulations. You will need to have strong team leadership skills to create a ‘can do’ environment of high achievement with a focus on problem solving and creative solutions. You will have the ability to make timely and effective decisions and lead by example, understanding when to consult with or defer to others. You will be able to build and facilitate relationships, both internally and external to the organisation. Salary: £14,430-20,335 Benefits: £3,000 Car Allowance, 20 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme Our Orange Grove agency is seeking a committed Family Support Worker to provide direct and indirect support to children and young people living with foster families, alongside birth children and foster carers to promote the stability of foster placements. The successful applicant will also be responsible for arranging activities and workshops for ‘Looked After’ and Birth children alongside family events and days out. There is an expectation that you will be able to provide succinct verbal and written reports and attend meetings with Professionals from Education, Health and Social Services sectors to support our children’s and young people’s care plans. To be considered for this role you should have relevant child care experience, ideally within the fostering sector, be able to work flexible hours, act upon your own initiative, and have the ability to relate positively to children, young people, birth families, foster carers, social workers and other associated professionals. It is essential that you are passionate about improving the lives of children and young people and have a clear understanding of safe care. You will be attached to the Chislehurst centre. You must hold a valid driving licence, own your own car and be confident to travel by car across London, Essex and surrounding areas.
