Could you foster?
There aren’t many requirements to apply to foster a child. All that we ask is that you:
- Are over 21 years old
- Have the legal right to live and work in the UK
- Have a spare bedroom that’s always available to a child
- Can offer a stable, loving home to a child
We have a diverse fostering community and welcome foster parents from all walks of life; your sexual orientation, relationship status, and gender identity aren’t a factor. We don’t have an upper age limit, and if you have a disability, you can still foster.
All that matters to us is that you can provide a loving, stable and secure home for children and young people who need it most.

About us
Orange Grove was founded in 1996 by experienced foster professionals who understood that relationships and collaboration are the key to making a difference in the lives of children and young people. They created a community of fostering professionals who nurture foster families, tailoring support to meet their individual needs.
Over 25 years later, we have changed the lives of thousands of children in care and aim to change many more. But we couldn’t do it without our courageous foster families whose dedication, love and warmth make the world a better place.
When you join Orange Grove, we get to know you, encouraging your personal development and building a village of tailored support around you so we can continue to change the lives of children and young people together, giving them the happy childhood they deserve.
