Supporting you to make a big difference

We urgently need compassionate individuals to make a life-changing difference for children in care. With Orange Grove, you'll receive exceptional support and training every step of the way on this journey.

Based in Milton Keynes, with an additional training centre in Wisbech, we support foster families across Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Oxford, High Wycombe, Watford, Stevenage, Cambridge, Bury St Edmonds, Norwich, Boston, Peterborough, and beyond.

With Orange Grove, you and your family will have the support of a dedicated local team right by your side, including your own social worker and family support worker. You'll also benefit from a wide range of introductory and ongoing training, designed to expand your knowledge and help you grow continuously as a fostering professional. No prior experience is necessary—just a commitment to making a difference.

Strong relationships are key to making a difference. That’s why we'll devote our time to building a solid relationship with you and your family, so we can offer the right support whenever you need it. Whether it’s more frequent visits or check-ins over the phone, connecting you with a local foster parent for extra advice, or regular hands-on assistance from your family support worker—whatever you need, we’ll make it happen.

So, whether you’re new to fostering or a more seasoned fostering professional, join our Milton Keynes fostering family. Together, we can create happy childhoods and lasting positive memories for children across the region.

Tailored support for your family

There’s no ‘one size fits all’ approach to support for foster parents. You may need some extra hands-on support, including more regular supervision. You may prefer a slightly more relaxed approach, particularly if you have children settled in your care. And many of our families need something in between.

We tailor support to meet the needs of your whole family, including:

  • Our friendly team will help you from the moment you enquire, assisting with your application, assessment, panel and beyond.
  • Your dedicated social worker will get to know to ensure you receive personalised support.
  • Our matching specialists get to know you really well, so they can match you with a child who will suit your skills and family perfectly.
  • Our multi-disciplinary team of foster care professionals, including social workers, family support workers, education experts, therapists and more, will offer expert support whenever you need it.
  • Your foster parent buddy will help you settle into your role.
  • Our 24/7 helpline means our team is only a phone call away and is ready to assist you day or night.
  • We know that when parents foster, your children do too. So, we offer support groups, resources and a children's helpline.
  • Each region, including Milton Keynes, has an events calendar full of fun days out, meet-ups and festive fun where you can bond with other foster families in your area.
